Our adult Sunday School classes gather at
10:00 AM. Listed below is a brief description
for each class. We invite you to come and be a
part of God's family. There is a place for you.
OPEN DOOR CLASS: This class is comprised of "mature" adults who enjoy studying
the scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments, with sometimes "spirited input"
from the class members. Members enjoy each other so much that they socialize with
a pitch-in luncheon every 5th Sunday, when possible. The name, Open Door Class,
truly means our door is always open to everyone.
CHRISTIAN CHALLENGERS CLASS: The class is studying, Some Things Are Too
Good NOT To Be True, by James W. Moore, Senior Pastor of St. Luke's UMC in
Houston, TX. The class has studied many of his books which challenge us to reflect
on many aspects of our Christian faith, thus the class name. This class is open to all
adults, regardless of age.
FAITH FOUNDATION CLASS: Lessons are mostly Bible studies, with occasional
detours into current issues that affect our lives. This class is currently studying the
book of Genesis. The mission in this class is for everyone to be so aware of the
truth, that they would recognize a counterfeit immediately. Just like the name of the
class, we are building a foundation of faith.
CHRISTIAN BUILDERS CLASS: This class is a fun-loving group that enjoys hearty
discussion. They also gather monthly for parties and social events in order to build
deeper relationships with one another.
SEEKERS CLASS: This is a class of 25 - 50 year-olds The class mission is "to seek
a better understanding of what God intends for us on Earth." Leadership is shared
among the members of the class.
SUNDAY MORNING DEBATE: This newly formed class is comprised of young
adults, from post high-school to about age 30. Currently this group is going through
a book by Tom Ehrich titled Just Wondering Jesus. Any questions please contact
Jack Klein at jackiepooh@Ids.net
