MISSION OPPORTUNITY
Nicole Trauschke, a student at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West
Palm Beach, FL is planning to go on a mission trip to the Philippines in
May of 2010.  She especially asks for your prayers not only for herself but
the team and missionaries already serving in the Philippines. If anyone
would like to take the opportunity to support her financially, please see the
letter from Nicole on the bulletin board across from the office for more
information.

Wednesday Night Meal -  An Opportunity to Serve
Every Wednesday night that JAM meets there is a meal served in the
basement fellowship hall from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.  This meal is open
to anyone who wants to come and eat.  If you cannot come and want a
meal, someone can come and pick up one for you or you can call and we
will arrange for someone to deliver it to you.  We try to plan hearty simple
meals that both children and adults will like.  We try to keep the cost down
and usually have the dessert (cookies or cupcakes donated).  Our
suggested donation amount is $5.00 per family or $2.00 per person
unless you feel generous and want to help cover someone who may not
be able to pay that much.  We realize that this may be an alternative to
more expensive fast food for some families, teens, and JAM workers as
well as an opportunity for some of our shut ends to get a hot meal or
seniors to have a hot meal and fellowship with church friends.

The preparation, serving and clean up are all done by volunteers.  If you
would like to serve your fellow church members in this way, please call
Beverly at the church office, 745-2504, and let her know what you would
like to do. The desserts are usually cookies or cupcakes and can be made
ahead and frozen or made and brought ahead.  We just need to know if
you plan to bring them so we know what we have.  Volunteers can be men
or women.  We are looking forward to getting to know some new workers
in Christ.
